Welcome to my Blog
Hey all! Lets take a real look at ourselves and see what we can do to be better. I will write notes on personal experience and suggest some insight but i am looking for your opinion as well! So chime on in, it should be an adventure!
St. Ignatius of Loyola, author of The Spiritual Exercises wrote: “In a time of desolation, never forsake the good resolutions you made in better times. Strive to remain patient-a virtue contrary to the troubles that harass you-and remember that you will be consoled.”
Of all the needs Abraham Maslow described in his hierarchy, the need for self-actualization was at the top. We have an inate desire to be the best person we can be. Unfortunately, this is a lofty goal (probably really never achieved in our lifetime on this earth), and one that is all too easy to become distracted from.
